Book Report

Introduction of the story

The book, Pokemon Charizard Go, by Tracey West, tells the story of an adventure by Ash and his friends: Pikachu, Charizard and Ricky.

Ash was chased by prehistoric pokemon. Ash had a pokemon league and he challenged the guy called Ricky, an old friend of his. When Pichachu and Squirtle fainted during the battle against Ricky's Charmander, Ash could only sent Charizard or Bulbasuar. Ash did not want to use Bulbasuar because its type was weaker against Ricky's Charmander. Ash did not want to use Charizard because he might not listen to his commands in battle. Ash thinks of all that he had been through with Charizard and wondered if he could trust him. At last Ash lost the battle, but he and the pokemon experienced a lot, so that they could evolve soon.

Genre

The genre of Pokemon Charizard Go can be classifed as both fiction and fantasy for the following reasons. Firstly, some characters in the story, such as pokemons are imaginary creatures. Secondly, there are dinosaurs which are prehistorical creatures in the story. Thirdly, very advanced machines are found in the story that make the events in the story mixed with fantasy and imagination in constrst to non-fiction or factual characters.

Plot
I think the plot in the story is simple. Ash wanted to win Ricky. The disobedient Charizard causes a lot of problems to Ash. So there are a lot of action, excitement, and adventure created in different events in the story.
Ash has to use his Charizard to fight Ricky's Charmader. He lost because he had no more pokemons to use for battle. But he experienced a lot.

My Thoughts
I don't really like this book, but it's still an exciting book to read. It can be improved by having more exciting moments with a good happy ending.

Milla Lost her Voice

In this story, there is a happy cow named Milla. She likes to play and to say Moo to greet her friends in a barnyard.

One day her monkey friend saw her on the road and went to her and said,"Chitter Chatter," but when Milla wanted to respond, she coudn't make a single sound.

Then Milla met another friend which is a snake. She said ,"Szzzzzzzzz," then again Milla wanted to respond, but not a single sound came, no matter how hard she tried.

Later when she was about to rest, a dog came and said,"Roufffff," then this time Milla really tried so hard that she almost fell, but still nothing came out of her throat.

She then thought that she had lost her voice. Her friends tried to help. They got a big pot with some coke, then they started to stir it, and one by one they added things into the pot. Then Milla drank the cokish drink and felt very much better, and said," Mooooooooooo."

And then magically, Milla had her voice back and she gave big thanks to her friends.
